At a half-way house she is forced to seek and take full time employment, as a secretary/receptionist for a film distribution firm that is in fact a porn production company. Failing to find a platform to voice her criticisms of the church, realising that she will be only ridiculed as a nun having a crisis of faith or more likely suffering a break down, Mary prays to God for guidance. She is told in a vision that by giving up her virginity in a porn film, she will find the ears of the world press and thereby a platform to speak of reform. Her boss sees and takes advantage of a chance to make a fortune in sales on the back of a press frenzy. But before the film is realised he is approached by a representative of the church, paid off and the film is buried.
On his death bed twenty years later the producer places the film on the net and when the press finally track Mary down working for a global charity organisation she is now perfectly placed and ready to finally voice her criticisms, the renouncement of: wealth within the church; exploitation of the uneducated in third world countries; the denial of contraception to the Third World thereby furthering the spread of STDs; the sexual abuse of minors by the clergy, etc.
